Catholic Charities’ Food for Families/Food for Seniors program is looking for volunteers for their phone bank initiative!

Volunteers will make phone calls and be part of a phone bank reminding current clients of pick-up locations and hours to pick up their Commodity/Supplemental Food Boxes.

Phone calls will be made from Catholic Charities Main Office at 1000 Howard Avenue, across from the train and the bus station. Free parking is available. The only qualification is a friendly personality!

Food for Families/Food for Seniors serves 56,999 clients across the state. These clients are the elderly poor and single new moms in our local civil parishes as well as throughout the State.

This is a great volunteer opportunity for any high school students needing to squeeze in the last few service hours before school starts.
