Community Steps Up to Help Feed 225 Families this Thanksgiving Thank you to everyone who donated to this year's Catholic Charities' Thanksgiving basket drive. Your kindness contributed to helping make this time of year special for those who need it most. Your generosity helped provide baskets for 225 families!
Special shoutout to 11-year-old Margaret (pictured), an inspiration to us all. In just one weekend, she rallied her friends and neighbors to do an incredibly good deed - donating three baskets worth of items. We're in awe of Margaret's generosity and thankful for her heartfelt contribution to those in need. Margaret is also the granddaughter of volunteer Anna Lee Ingalls.
We appreciate Margaret and everyone who donated this year!

St. Elizabeth's Guild: Supporting Catholic Charities for more than Six Decades | It's amazing to see how much the St. Elizabeth's Guild has accomplished since the 1950s! The Guild has been steadfast in their commitment to support Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans children's programs.
Some program directors recently were recognized at a Guild luncheon where their programs received grants, including Padua House, a residential program for those with intellectual disabilities (Director Tanna Barthelemy pictured above), Parish & Community Ministries, and Therapeutic Family Services, which provides specialized foster care for children with behavioral or developmental problems.
We are blessed to have the St. Elizabeth's Guild in our corner and greatly appreciate their generosity! |
